𝗙𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗘𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝟵𝟯𝟲 𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗩 𝗮𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁! Hello! I wanted to make an argument for SO9 Futaba since her page is filled with two core and even two fixed votes and I wanted to give an alternative pov for her. This is my first argument so I’ll try my hardest. Firstly I want to debunk two core for her because it is painstakingly obvious that she is the opposite of that. Even the two fixed votes are extremely weird for her. E2 cores aren’t these selfless angels that people imagine them to be. Mature e2s can definitely be kind and genuine. But overall what you guys imagine SO2 to be is actually just SO9. E2 cores “give” to other people to fill up their own emotional and physical needs. Often deluding themselves and others that they are these amazingly giving individuals. That’s actually where they get their pride from (depending on the subtype). I say that the closest e2 for her wouldn’t even be SO2 but SP2. As it’s the most dependent on others but does it extremely differently than an e9 3fix. Both e2s are closely terrible for her. How is futaba that way at all? She is the most selfless person in the whole manga and even comes close to the character Tohru Honda (also a soc9). Futaba is a person who changes herself to be socially accepted within her social groups. She falls completely asleep to her own wants and desires. Her main focus point is just being allowed to be in a group. A quote from the so9 trait structure “Social sloth can be described as the need to be in the group. Sloth manifests as a constant merging with the group, emulating socially acceptable forms of behaviour and communication in hopes of gaining acceptance.” This is exactly what futaba is like. Kou even called her out on this. Telling her that she does anything to fit in with people even changing who she is. She is naturally feminine and passive but the group she was apart of at the start of the show started to feel defensive and envious which then made her purposely try and act more masculine and “tomboy” so that the girls wouldn’t feel threatened and would then accept her again. Which worked for a time. She tried to do things which she knew guys wouldn’t like so that her friend group wouldn’t discard her. She would buy too much food even tho she’s a light eater all for the wants of the group. An e2 would not do that. They would own their own needs and assert themselves more and especially a social two as they are 1V in py. Futaba is very weak willed. Everything I have stated so far is a very 3-6-9 thing as the attachment type. The trifix which is the mostly likely to act the way that is socially expected of them. Being deeply afraid to stray away from the norm or what other people demand. Another point I would like to emphasise on is when her close-minded friends finally abandoned her she didn’t feel completely wounded bc of “pride” she just felt unworthy and like she was to blame. Feeling like if she just did what they wanted they would still accept her. Putting herself down for the faults of others. I really love her growth through the whole series. When she finally finds a group where she feels like she belongs. The first time she goes against the group bc of her own empathy for someone she barely even knows. When she stands up for a girl that was being excluded bc she was naturally cute and not ashamed of that. Being the complete opposite of Futaba and owning her own wants and traits instead of changing herself. This is a great example of E9 vs E2 btw!! And as for ESE I’m glad to see that people agree with that :)! But here’s some bulletpoints I think makes her fit ese: - extroverted - emotional - outwardly expressive - adaptable I want to wrap this up by saying that Futaba is a very complex and compassionate character with amazing empathy and emotional intelligence. And it pains me to see how dead her PDB page is bc I truly expected atleast a few SO9 arguments. So Again I tried to be the one to do it although it was hard haha!! I truly see myself in her and I love how sweet and genuine she is. She helps others heal so much and I truly admire that characteristic. ——————————————————————- SO9 Futaba for president ☝🏻☝🏻🫧
