I loved that subtile difference in Maddie's Ni and Tom's Si in the second film's dialogue. (Possible spoilers?) Tom says something along the lines of Eggman "destroying everything", while Maddie is more concerned that he's "creating something". I have no idea how much thought was put into writing the humans, though.
