"Que tipo de personalidade é Simon Henriksson? Simon Henriksson é um tipo de personalidade ISFP em mbti, 4w5 - sp/sx - 469 em enneagram, RLUEN em Big 5, IEI em sociônicos."
I’m genuinely concerned a lot of people do not understand the function of Ne and how tertiary Ni expresses itself in ISFP’s. Simon is one of the best examples of a Fi-Ni Loop in fiction. “Good type development thus demands that the auxiliary supplement dominant process in two respects. It must supply a useful degree of balance not only between perception and judgement but also between extraversion and introversion. When it fails to do so it leaves the individual literally "unbalanced", retreated into the preferred world and consciously or unconsciously afraid of the other world. Such cases do occur and may seem to support the widespread assumption among Jungian analysts that the dominant auxiliary naturally both extravert and introverted; but such cases are not the norm: They are instances of insufficient use and development of the auxiliary. To live happily and effectively in both worlds, people need a balancing auxiliary that will make it possible to adapt in both directions-to the world around them and to their inner selves." - Myers, "Gifts Differing: Understanding Personality Type" When ISFP’s are in a Fi-Ni loop, they can lose touch with reality. The auxiliary function (Se) is usually the function that keeps them grounded in reality. Taking in the face value sensory perception which can keep ISFP’s less prone to being stuck in their own heads. However, when in a Fi-Ni loop; they lose most grasp on the real world and live solely in their head. Remember: tertiary functions are called the child functions, meaning they’re used childishly. They are not competent with this function and are often used irresponsibly. Ne is more about possibilities and therefore a more broad spectrum, usually easy to spot and based upon multiple perspectives. Simon however is a blatant victim of Ni tunnel vision, He only perceives through HIS perspective and its reflected through the flashbacks in game. At the point where Sophie rejects him he blurs out any other perspective besides his own. He’s so hyper-focused on these spliced together events in his mind that he can’t distinguish the sensory world from the extrasensory world. This must be stated, This is NOT a healthy character and his functions will reflect that. A healthy to average INFP will have clear grasp on their dominant and auxiliary functions. Unhealthy ones will either over-rely on them or not use them at all. I think another problem with INFP arguments is the lack of tertiary Si. The blatant intuitive bias simply because “The game takes place in his mind” is simply shocking. And please, if you came from TikTok and discovered this game through TikTok; PLAY THE GAME! ITS FREE! (This argument was extremely rushed and incoherent, I’ll revisit it eventually)
