Very six-ish in his self-doubting, varyingly aggressive, anti-authoritarian, and anti-groupthink mentality that was especially prevalent during his BTMI days. Goodbye Cool World in particular has such a forceful, aggressive, and confrontational attitude about it that it made me think Rosenstock was a Sx 6 for a minute (possibly even an Entp), but it's not reflected particularly in much else in his life, and he was self-admittedly going through a pretty dark, isolated period of his life. Sp 6 fits a lot better, as someone who has been alternatingly very ensconced in and even a sort of leader of underground punk, and also as one its harshest critics. Also it gives him a softer, friendlier social affectation than either a So or Sx 6 would have. Which you can spot in just about any interview with the guy; he almost always starts in a spot of smiling & laughing. Obvious Ne-dom, his material is littered with one-liners, scattered influences, a sort of high-strung, frenzied energy, and incredibly dense lyric sheets of thoughts, ideas, ruminations, and verbal takedowns. Has often been juggling multiple projects at any given time. Fi bolsters his work with emotionality and his personal values being placed above practicality and money-making (Te) is how Quote Unquote Records came to being. His Te has definitely strengthend its influence as he's aged and he's more comfortable utilizing it for his own well-being, but he still foregrounds Ne-Fi just about everywhere.

He was the lead singer of the ska punk band The Arrogant Sons of Bitches, the musical collective Bomb the Music Industry! and the indie rock band Kudrow. After the breakup of Bomb the Music Industry!, he began a solo career.
