The reason people believe so3 sounds Fe at first is due to their chameleon deceitful skillset. You can think of it naturally like this: So3 doesn’t value emotional labour or connections or warmth but they use a certain amount of charm as “means to an end” so to seduce people into believing their goals and desires. (Different to the genuine cooperation of responsibility that sp3’s own and the relational and more emotionally charged sx3’s) It’s not something inherently important to so3’s but rather to get people to believe their intellectual abilities and ideas. (so3: Te>Fe) Also reason why so2’s are the exact other way around: So2’s seduce your intellect and are very adult like than raw emotional (different to sx and sp2’s nature outwardly) but so2’s inherently don’t value the labour of logic for themselves. They use it as “means to an end” just like so3’s use emotional appeal to a certain extent as a tool for the crowd.(so2: Fe>Te) So at the end of the day, so3’s want you to like their presence so they can gain status in the realm of social hierarchy and investment in logical affairs using charm to navigate the business realm.
