Felix tipo de personalidade mbti

Personalidade

"Que tipo de personalidade é Felix? Felix é um tipo de personalidade ESTP em mbti, 7w8 - sp/sx - 783 em enneagram, em Big 5, em sociônicos."

i've noticed there's an e7 consensus so here's my argument as to why i think he resembles a sx8 more than anything (RVB 11-13 SPOILERS AHEAD) 1. the e8 argument what sticks out to me the most about the chorus trilogy wherever felix's enneagram is concerned, is the speech he gives tucker. he ends it with the quote: "at the end of the day, if i'm stronger than you, and i'm faster than you, then i can kill you. and that's better than anything money can buy." this, to me, is UNIQUELY sx8. this quote displays the strong/weak dichotomy he believes in, and mentions his materialism as something important-but-ultimately-negligible in the face of power. i also choose to believe the statement "...better than anything money can buy" alludes to the fact that his pursuit of material goods is not strictly out of personal pleasure, rather it's his way of exerting control over his physical world. 2. character & core desire while it's true he takes pleasure in his violent behavior (something you'd see in an evil sp7), we're shown his prime motivation through santa's alien simulation: he is unable to adapt to civilian life, unwilling to heal, and happily willing to drag locus down with him. this helps us assume that pleasure, while certainly one of his priorities, is not his /drive/. if it were, and especially if he were sp/sx, i doubt he'd be as dependent on locus as he is. he has a clear lust for the trauma he steeps himself in and is so infatuated with the life of being a cruel mercenary that he sees no purpose in giving up this control on the promise of healing. 3. the helmet cam stunt keep in mind beatrice chestnut's description of sx8, stating "This subtype is the most provocative and rebellious. They speak out against rules and tend to be more magnetic and charismatic. They are more emotional than the other Type 8 subtypes and tend to be very possessive of the people in their lives. They display more passion and action, and less thought. They energetically take over the whole scene and like being in control and being the center of attention." ---and now refer to the scene where felix impulsively gives an elaborate speech to tucker, something that ends up being his downfall. another example of his charisma is how he takes pride in being able to deceive kimball. the wiki states: "However, this is Felix's greatest weakness, as he gets carried away by his own cockiness, and as a result gets outsmarted by his opponents." this behavior is exemplary of e8 and unhealthy ESTP working together; he isn't thinking, he's acting, and he's reveling in flourishing all of his strength and power instead of actually thinking the situation through, and it gets him hurt. 4. locus and the sexual instinct duràn has a quote about the sx8, saying "The fear of being dominated leads them to a dominating presence, from which love may be confused with possession. Desire is finding someone so valuable that they deserve to become part of me and confirm their worth, someone to incorporate and merge themselves with without losing their identity." and this couldn't be more true about his relationship with his partner. canonically we are aware he FEARS locus. he is AFRAID of locus's power and is hyperaware of the fact that locus may choose to betray him. he's dependent on locus because of how they incorporate their identities together---felix does not heal, locus does not heal. felix does what needs to be done, locus does what needs to be done. they are both irrevocably changed by war. when this connection is challenged by washington, felix grows angry and erratic. he struggles to cope with someone else wishing to exert control on someone he's already possessive over 5. rvb and letting go rvb has a very common theme of grief and learning how to let go of someone. while this isn't necessarily as deep of an argument, it's something i'd like to point out---sx8 is possessive and known for struggling perhaps the most with letting go of a partner or close friend. felix, like church and the director, struggles to let go of locus and of the life of violence and cruelty. in the same way the director's refusal to let go of allison leads him to his demise, felix's unwillingness to let locus move on is what gets him killed.
