Have the Skins fans absolutely lost it? You all are so clearly all IXFPs voting to claim Effy and put this girl on us 😭. Toxic INFJs are nothing like this. She doesn’t observe enough or make any connections. Yes she is obsessed, but that’s a human thing that can happen in any type. This idea you all have of all Fi doms being independent unique incredible people isn’t realistic or accurate in true Myers-Briggs theory. She’s very clearly INFP, as her motivation to befriend the group was Fi fueled and attempted through Ne and Si. I could make a whole list of reasons why this girl absolutely cannot be INFJ (from how she knew absolutely nothing about the people she was obsessed with and lacked care for them completely, or how she was motivated by her beliefs surrounding herself and in her eyes, torturous life), but let me just say this; compare her to actual toxic/stalker INFJs (Joe Goldberg, Gone Girl, etc.) you’ll notice that they’re a lot more cunning and good at solving puzzles. Tony is closer to being a toxic INFJ in this show than her IMO. INFJs are better at seeing themselves in relation to the world and other people, so when they’re still motivated to chase after someone or something by Fe, they become quite dangerous and calculated. This girl, on the other hand, is passionate and bitter, but is frazzled and lacks the ability to form connections in her head. She has no Ni whatsoever, and while Fe could be argue, I really doubt that’s a function she utilizes much, which is what leads me to Fi. I think she wanted people around her for her own emotional satisfaction and not for their sakes, although she wouldn’t consciously be aware of that. Anyways, this is a sincere plea to the Skins fandom to learn about the presentation of functions in people because oh my lord 😭🙌 P.S. any actual INXJ would have known Maxxie was gay, she believed he wasn’t for her own selfish reasons, which is Fi not Fe. Toxic Ni/Fe would have found a new target or used manipulation, not just blindly believing in something that clearly isn’t true.
