Ti-ne to me represents someone who's sensitive to others (ti-fe and fe-ti being insecure as opposed to self assured fi-te and te-fi) but chooses to suppress that side of them. Ne-si represents a desire to understand everything or rather a discomfort towards uncertainty that more down to earth se-ni or forward thinking ni-se share. We need to extrapolate our understanding to things we aren't sure about just to feel secure if that makes any sense. Anyways that lines with the head triad in being controlled by fear more than shame or anger. And our response to it is internalise and grow from it, defined by it. The difference between me and my dad is our environment. He was faced with hardships and family. Instilled a sense to provide and struggle. A mild vindictive pride as well. I was given material comfort, the sense that I didn't belong at home or school, and the excesses of the internet. I guess how 5w6 and 5w4 differentiate from similar neural "tendencies" that's articulated with mbti. Compartmentalise and dissociate. Starts small. Does the thought of family showing up at school bring pride and comfort or distress and shame. In who you are and who they are. Because school is such an large aspect of who you are. If that's corrupted then you get a drop out like me. I'm a pathetic person who doesn't take responsibility in who I am but there are things not my fault. It's grey. Does making excuses and deflecting shameful remarks define your character. Do you want to avoid and escape. The internet is a tool, like painkillers or ssri.

Serial Experiments Lain is an anime series released by Triangle Staff, directed by Ryutaro Nakaura, set design by Chiaki J. Konaka and designed by Yoshitoshi ABe. The series was transferred by TV Tokyo from July to September 1998 and had a PlayStation game released the same year.
