I personally think he's Fe over Fi. He cannot seperate himself from the suffering of others regardless of how much he tries, he literally has to cover his eyes and not see them to do so. As an example, when he was a child, his main issue was that he could not stop taking on the pain that other people experienced regardless of if he wanted to or not. To me that points to clear Fe over Fi valuing where Fi would be an internally constructed set of values which is independent of the ideals/ethics/feelings of the outside world. Heck even in his battle against Hades, he can't stop himself from feeling Hades' pain despite the gods wanting to annihilate humanity. What this points to in my head is Fe, regardless of who he's up against or who he sees, be it friend, or foe, ally or enemy, he absorbs their pain and their joy and - due to it being manga/anime - takes those feelings on and carries it himself to the point where it physically hurts him. Whether he wants to or not. I have a hard time seeing how a man that does this on such a subconscious level i.e. taking in and feeling the emotions and values of others regardless of who they are, is someone who has Fe as their 8th function in the case of ENTJs. In fact his child self, where functional development is not complete and so it's more likely to show just his first function or first two. He's shown constantly enduring this pain without having to even try and keeping it locked within himself so as to not disturb other people, because of how much trouble he knows it will cause e.g. getting looked at as strange and being pushed away from others, again Fe > Fi,. Regarding why he acts the way he does as an adult, he does so for his people, not for himself. It's a face of confidence that he knows he has to put on to keep his people also rallied up and confident. He does not respect the gods because his people do not respect them and he realizes the destruction that they want to inflict on humanity, yet he still can't help but feel what his opponent feels whilst in the ring, again what I see as Fe > Fi. Also as for Ni - Se vs Ne - Si seeing as how the solution to him not constantly taking in other people's pain is just not seeing them, I see that as more Se > Ne tertiary, also his goal of uniting all of China and all that also point to Ni > Si.
