I think the reason so many people are so confused about Ivlis's MBTI is because of the fact that Ivlis was using a facade throughout the entire game of The Gray Garden and pretending to be someone he isn't. To be honest, I was also a bit confused about his MBTI at first, but I think it's impossible for him to be a Te dom when this guy makes decisions entirely based on the emotions he's feeling at the moment. He used to be a rather sweet and naive demon, following Siralos's orders because that's what he wanted, but at the same time being able to judge him when he noticed that Siralos's way of ruling his creations didn't align with his own morals > Fi At the same time, all of his decisions are equally impulsive. Even his most "planned" decision (invading TGG) is a plan riddled with flaws and last-minute decisions > Se And that can be seen even in a more recent Ivlis: like his attempt to kill Satanick. I think a Te Dom would have at least given some thought to the most efficient way to kill a devil, but Ivlis doesn't even plan anything. He simply had the impulse to kill him and went straight for it, even though it was obvious that something like that wasn't going to work, especially against a devil who is far more powerful than him 😭 Ivlis doesn't plan, Ivlis doesn't think about efficient ways to do things. Ivlis only feels and thinks about his emotions and acts impulsively according to them. Again, I think people get confused because they fall for the "cool villain" facade that Ivlis displayed in TGG, even though that behavior was clearly a response to the trauma and anger he felt from being banished and not really his true personality.
