Not totally sure, but he seems Fe inf. He always tells the(his) truth and never tries to be accommodating about false perspectives.The truth is very important to him, and the reason of all his writings. He seems a judging type with repressed feeling, and he is always able to see when one's perspective is influenced by "the power"("il potere" as he used to call the personification of this mysterious mechanism which rules over people's minds and bodies of any social class). He always spots when someone's perspective is not sincere. Also, I'm not sure about inf Se, but I can see arguments for auxiliary Se, though he has a very strong intuition.
