Perturabo is totally an INTP. Shows a fair amount of Ti with his strategic and problem-solving skills. In many books and other lore pieces he is shown as a complete mastermind, meticulously planning every detail and way of performing a siege. His Ne is also very high and people tend to forget about Perturabo being raised on Olympia in a royal family with good possibilities for developing his creativity and abstraction. In "Perturabo: Hammer of the Olympia" we see Perturabo not only as a war-wager, but as a scientist and as an artist. He read many books about philosophy, physics and many other things. I think the most common mistake people make when typing him ISTP is that his Ne was heavily suppressed by Dammekos, his foster father, and then by the Emperor, who both used his genius just to achieve their own goals by making Perturabo create new projects that serve just for war and not for any other things that he was capable of creating. The Si of Perturabo is simply his defense mechanism. When facing a problem, he tries to regulate everything with pure logic and facts, sometimes not taking into account the details of that problem. And then, when he ends up realising that such problem cannot be solved even with logic and common sense, he starts to feel vulnerable and bursts in rage, which can often cause even more problems. The inferior Fe is by far the most obvious thing that Perturabo has and it is literally EVERYWHERE. He throws his legionaries in the most dangerous and attritional situations because he treats them as if they were just cogs in the big mechanism of war. He decimated his whole legion simply because of his distrust. He strangled his sister because he couldn't understand her feelings and the feelings she was trying to wake up in himself. After all, even after all of these events and even bigger weight of his war-waging obligations, he has become even more of a merciless emotionless cog, like his Iron Warriors, just bigger.
