why is she typed as a social 2? i can see why people might think that she is a 2, because she is caring… but she’s definitely not a social climber. she only wanted to make a lot of friends in the beginning of the series. if any 2 subtype were to fit her, i would think sp2… however, she doesn’t really expect adoration from other people. she doesn’t carry a childlike attitude in order to gain something, it simply says in the manga that she has a ‘childlike face’. i just don’t see the 2 pride in her so much. i think if nanami was a social 2, she would have known how to climb the social ladder with ease at the beginning of the series. she would have known what to say to the girls she wanted to hang out with, and with yano, but she kind of just said whatever she wanted to get a conversation going instead, which caused her a lot of discomfort. her lack of confidence there tells me that she probably doesn’t have a lot of 2 characteristics. SPOILERS* i can see a possibility for sx9, she was attached to one person that she hadn’t seen for 5 years. she adapted the same lifestyle as him, moving to tokyo, searching for him, etc. as for so9, we see her as workaholic towards the end of the series where she takes on more than she can handle. she put the group’s needs above her own, which is how she ended up in the hospital— from overworking. like i mentioned before, at the beginning of the series, she spoke with a lot of people in an attempt to make friends. it is said very early on that she wants to make as many friends as possible, but we can see that it is a little bit of a struggle for her. this reminds me of social 9; not so much so2. please let me know what you think.
