In the biographical film he was portrayed as an unhealthy INTP and from what I read about him it fits. I don't think he valued Ni: 'Meaning is meaningless to me. I do not care for symbolism and I paint what I paint without meditating on a story.' 'I quite simply have been trying from the very beginning to paint beautiful paintings. Beautiful.' 'I cannot conceive of a sensible statement on painting. Art is one of the beautiful lies and I guess it is nothing more.' From what people wrote about him he was an unhealthy Ti-Si user: - Beksiński did not talk to people - he informed and educated them. He could barely hide his irritation and could not understand how someone couldn't understand something so simple and obvious to him and how people can be so inaccurate and imprecise after so many times he explained something to them. The things he hated the most were: inaccuracy and minor mistakes - according to him the most colossal ones. - He was polite when talking to strangers, but the few friends he had, could always count on him for a cutting remark. Those few who have ever visited him said they felt like they were interrogated. - He was an excellent rhetorician - he could justify anything. - Thick-skinned, didn't care about criticism, and claimed to live in the state of his inner "homeostasis". биография
Zdzisław Beksiński (pronounced [ˈzd͡ʑiswaf bɛkˈɕiɲskʲi]; 24 February 1929 – 21 February 2005) was a Polish painter, photographer and sculptor, specializing in the field of dystopiansurrealism. Beksiński did his paintings and drawings in what he called either a 'Baroque' or a 'Gothic' manner. His creations were made mainly in two periods. The first period of work is generally considered to contain expressionistic color, with a strong style of "utopian realism" and surreal architecture, like a doomsday scenario. The second period contained more abstract style, with the main features of formalism.
