Beatrice is a sexual seven. Though easy to be conflated with an extraverted feeler or a 2 core considering her dependence on others and a tendency toward histrionic boasting, it’s important to realize the root of Beatrice and why she exists to begin with. Beatrice was not created mainly as an amalgamation of Battler’s ideal woman, even if she has the brash behavior and physique that Battler idealized and flaunts about it way more than she needs to. It’s important to understand the chronological order as to how Beatrice was born. Before the Beatrice we know arrived, Beatrice was just a concept and a part of the creators imagination where she passed down her love for Battler to Beatrice in order to escape her own love for him. Though as forementioned, this is Beatrice before birth and her as a concept rather than the overarching intent of who the Beatrice we know is, which is the most vital information for typing her. Beatrice first and foremost is a manifestation of the creator’s intense need for heightened possibilities to escape her pain. One fool's proof of this can be found in the episode 8 manga before the creators graphomania occurred. The catbox that we all know of is ruled by Beatrice because away from the real world (which has many impurities and is a sanctuary for the somber), the game board is the creators' escapism—where Beatrice basks in as much fun as she wants to, locked in an idyllic fantasy that can not be attained in the real world. This same pathology serves typical to the Peter Pan narrative that the majority of sexual 7s have, where the individual needs to reach “Neverland” to attain a state of gratification, and more importantly a place where their purely imaginative and unrealistic needs can become tangible to them—even if solely in the heart. Beatrice is a lighthearted individual to the point that others around her simply don’t understand her. She kills, berates others, acts all haughty, and ruins Kanon+Shannon’s notion of love, yet is above it all because she doesn’t think that anything is serious, showing a depravity in her own morals for the sake of narcissistic gluttony consistently. Without these lavish and extreme acts she commits, she falls into boredom which is the concept she despises most. There is nothing that Beatrice hates more than stagnation, and despite her behavior that goes to prove this (outside of her stating so verbatim) lies her insatiable love toward mysteries. Harboring love for even the classics doesn’t stop her from making every game board as interesting and novel as possible to the point to most readers it originally comes off as a crack fest. Overall, Beatrice possesses the escapism, narcissistic gluttony, lack of morality, intellectual curiosity, constant need for stimulation, disdain toward the ordinary, and vibrant imagination of the sexual 7. Nothing else describes her as well as this and I find her to be a rather quintessential example of a more destructive sexual 7. In regards to the social 2 typing, Beatrice’s maturity is almost non-existent. The most important part of the social 2 is becoming an overly mature authoritarian figure to the point they sever their interpersonal needs to cut off their own dependency, which ultimately makes them a figure distanced from all. Think of social 1s need to dominate, coldness, and lack of adaptability combined with the hardworking, unconscious attention seeking, and providing social 3. If you combine both of these, you get a social 2. Beatrice doesn’t really fit any of this outside of a need to dominate. She is immature to a fault, extremely childish, bratty, begs for attention like her life depends on it, and constantly boasts about her own virtues (which is uncharacteristic of a rather externally modest enneagram type like social 2). She would sooner be self-preservation 2 before social, given her princess-like disposition and childishness.
