Some quick points I'd like to make to refute the ISTP consensus: - Obvious Se and overall lack of Ni. An ISTP would have child Ni and thus still have its usage despite it being less preferred. Hoeru acts first before assessing the situation that it's clear he neglects Ni, and when he does use Ni, its usage comes off as weak. A Ti dom would at the very least have more logical intention in their actions if driven by Se. He rarely thinks of the consequences. - Outward assessment of the environment than inward. Aside from Se, child Te is able to be found in him given that he takes things at face value and objectively. A Ti user would have much less rigid line of thinking than the way he would. He sees it as it is, and acts based on what he feels he should do, which brings me to the next point: - Auxiliary Fi. Fi-Te axis causes him to bring more emphasis to his internal values than to care about society's thoughts at large. Now, I *can* understand the ISTP votes from the perspective of Fe inferior, but it's also clear to me that he uses enough Fi to have himself be an Fi user entirely rather than to have Fi as his demon function. Fi is shown from what he believes in based on his formative years (to never have a dream, for one), and he sticks to it. This cannot count as Si as not only is he a bigger Se user but he places more emphasis on the beliefs he gained from his experiences rather than the experience itself. - One funny example of Ni inferior I'd like to mention is in the No. 1 Confession Room supplementals. In episode 13, he attempts to use Ni-based pattern recognition to win rock paper scissors. It's easy, he thinks, when Mashiro fights with his fists via BearKuma 50 and Hoeru has the TegaSword sidearm. Mashiro chooses scissors. Dumbest game of rock-paper-scissors I have ever seen Additional notes: - Hoeru is pretty much 1F + 3V. I'm settling with FLVE, but it's also possible he could be FEVL. - 8w7 sp/sx > sx/sp. A sexual 8 would be directly controlling of other people. A self-pres 8 focuses on survival and the self. Aside from that, he is very much social blind. - I'm more inclined to believe he's dominantly choleric > phleg-chol. Phlegmatic doesn't mean lazy-- Nor do I think Hoeru is in some form. He is not the accommodating type whatsoever, and he laser-focuses on results even if he doesn't think ahead as per his Se-Ni axis. - ES(T) > ES(F). I see Se-Te strongly in tandem when it comes to him. Though, I'd appreciate arguments on this one as I'm less adept with classic Jungian functions.
