**SPOILERS** Vincent is too fixed in his way of thinking to be considered a Ne dominant/aux. He isn't broad-minded like an INTP is, and is too cold and detached to be considered a dominant Fi person. The fact that he wants to stay indoors all day and sleep in a coffin to re-experience his past through "nightmares" is him trying to look at things from new perspectives to synthesize new insights (Ni) about what happened and how he might atone for his actions.
