throughout the entire show, she was seen being the stereotypical people-pleasing archetype, always being helpful to others even when they told her to back off and often being lead by a need to be liked. she desperately wants to be liked by absolutely everyone, often even people that she herself doesn't like. she is seen several times throughout the show being completely unable to be honest if it means that she won't be liked. but this all can also fit into the gluttony of a 7, of the avoidance and rejection to anything that causes pain. she often avoids responsibilities, difficult conversations, and facing the consequences of her actions because she rejects anything that is negative or provides dissatisfaction. but could this be because 7 is her fix or her core? I can't pick. she doesn't seem obviously image-focused, but she does have a big need to always be validated, to always be in the right, to always be the good person, even when she's obviously not. she is completely unable to accept that she might have done something wrong, always choosing to deflect from it or to try to fix it by doing a billion unnecessary favors. this is seen a ton in her scenes with Edie, and also in season 8 with the whole Andre thing (or whatever his name was).) whenever she is met with conflict she runs from it. types 2 & 7 are both hedonistic, in different ways. I believe that Susan exhibits a lot of traits from both, which is why I'm struggling. she doesn't necessarily seem like she is in the assertive triad, but everything else of the type seven applies to her. out of subtypes, she is either a SP2 or a SX7. I am leaning towards type two, so if anyone wants to explain type 7 further to me then I would appreciate it, but I am still a little hesitant because she does display a lot of traits of a 7.
