𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐍𝐅𝐉 𝐒𝐎𝟐. 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐉 + 𝐄𝟑 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝 ( 𝟏 / 𝟐 ) I don’t understand how people genuinely believe that One is ENTJ. Let alone E3. She shows Ni, yes, but where is her Te? She does not rely on logic, analysis or facts to reach her goals. And even then her goals are nothing practical or logical. It is all based on emotion and relationships, she wants to get more power so she can save Three. And she doesn’t get this power by thinking of the most efficient and logical way to reach this goal, she reaches it by manipulating those to sign her contract with false generosity and seduction. Why Fe over Te? One doesn’t rely on logic or facts. She is not logical, she doesn’t think anything through. She is not efficient and her conscientiousness is not high. A Te dom wouldn’t let their emotions get in the way like that, a Te dom would think before killing someone. They would wonder “Is this practical? Is this efficient? Is this logical? Is this the right thing to do?”. And she did not think that, just the opposite. She was not thinking anything through and wanted to get revenge on Three for betraying her. The harmony she built between her and Three. Fe focuses on the external world of other people’s emotions and the relationships between them. One focuses on others emotions and their wants/needs to build harmony and a relationship between her and the person. And if it goes wrong, she gets upset as the harmony and the external world of emotions that she focuses so heavily on is disrupted. Te is not this, Te focuses on goals and logic. They wanna think of the fastest way to get something done, and they wanna do it practically, efficiently and logically. They don’t focus on the emotional world, unlike One who does. She is all emotion. No logic. Why E2 over E3? E2 and E3 are both similar in many ways. They are in the same triad, the heart triad. Therefore they focus on creating an image for themselves without looking at a logical perspective. (I know we just went over Fe vs Te, but this proves that One is not Te as she does not focus on a logical perspective or listen to her head. She listens to the heart.) E2 and E3 are both aware of the social hierarchies and social ideals. They know how to be liked and loved from others. They are ashamed of themselves and both try to use a mask to hide their true selves. The difference is how they use and create that mask. The main fear and desire of an E3 is failure and being unsuccessful, they thrive on achievements, good impressions and being seen as good and/or the best. They are motivated by getting achievements and succeeding. They wanna be the best in life, that is their mask. Their desire is to be successful, to be recognized and noticed for their achievements. They create a mask based on the social ideals from others, or well, what they presume is what is wanted from them. They create a mask based on what they think will get liked by the entire group. This is usually done by creating an image of being a high-achiever who is good at things and is able to succeed at things just so they can gain recognition from others. They create an image that will make people see them in a positive light. This is called ‘Vanity’, a false front made from Threes to hide their true selves so they can gain recognition from others and applause. Now, does this fit One? Well, sort of. One fits the enneagram passion of Vanity somewhat. Threes do often give to others and guess the needs/wants of others, just like One. But that is only one part of the enneagram three that One fits. One does not do this so she can be recognized for her efforts and achievements. In other words, ‘vanity.’ Instead, it’s all pride and flattery. She gives to others, guessing their needs and what they want to seduce them. To flatter them, it’s so she can get on their good side and seem like a helpful, great person. Which is the E2, the E2 is the helper. A false helper since their generosity is not actually from the heart. When One gives to others and seduces them, she feels important. Like she’s loved and needed in their lives, and when they don’t accept the help or call her out on her fake behavior, she gets upset. Her pride is threatened. She needs to feel important and loved in the lives of others by helping them, that is her passion. It is not vanity. It is pride.
