Sooo many ISTJs here. Especially in compliance. I'd include anything from medical records auditors to facility safety surveyors. Anyone who is involved behind the scenes in ensuring patient safety and smooth operations. Si-Te is great for attention to detail and logically assessing situations to minimize future risks. The work is within a framework so Ne is not too stressed but you are still encountering new challenges. There is an Fi element too. You absolutely have to take a stand against unethical situations. Patient health and safety is taken very seriously and many of us chose this work due to things we or our family members experienced. At the same time you must remain respectful, professional, and not let your emotions get in the way of reaching practical solutions. Post-COVID there are more ISFJs entering the profession (many from nursing or teaching). It's ended up with a good balance of Fe and Fi users with a strong feeling of unity in a single goal. So, while the work can absolutely be stressful and sad at times you are not alone. There are plenty of professional social events and workshops to keep you connected.
