First comment on here...! Chai's such an obvious ESFP. He literally REEKS the Se-Fi-Te-Ni stack-- Might as well give explanations for each function. DW, it's essentially spoiler-free. Kinda(?) essay-like length. 1) Se: ...is pretty obvious on how he's super in-tune with the environment (I mean... it's the ENTIRE thing going on with Chai's character + the game's whole gameplay mechanic with the environment), thrives on sensory experiences, and loves living in the moment even amidst danger. This is as direct as it gets. 2) Fi: The dude CAN work with a team and shows his care for them... but he ultimately is someone who'd prioritize and follow his OWN values and go ride his own wave; do things HIS way. Dude even says it himself that he's not really used to going along with a team as he's more used to doing things by and for himself. It's even proven further throughout the entire game with how the team reluctantly and/or begrudgingly just goes along with whatever thing he thinks of and improvises on the spot and doing whatever he's thinking when he wants to. An Fe user would more likely be more reluctant to make and execute a plan if the people around them are reluctant/do not approve of it and would probably adapt their inputs to be more fitting to them. 3) Te: He prefers to have direct and objective structure with logic to make things easier for him, but he'd prefer to rely more on his team to do that kind of thinking for him since his Se-Fi overtakes him literally 99% of the time. Plus when he does make up plans and gives (rare) logical inputs, it's very straightforward, objective, and something that everyone can follow with no repercussions and delivers it as such, making him come off leader-like sometimes especially with his charisma and can be felt especially around the end-game. 4) Ni: I think this one's pretty obvious as well as to how this is his inferior function. He does see SOME... abstract patterns in things and dream of a big ambiton of becoming a rockstar (...like what his character description LITERALLY says), but it's pretty rare + doesn't exactly go far and deep bc his Se usually wins over it as he prefers to be in sync with the environment, adapt on the spot, and doesn't really like thinking long-term. Again, "going with the flow" as I mentioned earlier. Guy even says at one point to Peppermint (iirc) that he'd rather just wing things and that long-term planning isn't his thing. I think the best examples of his Ni, however, are those really funny self-aware dialogues he has sometimes in-game, but maybe that could be discussed further... Overall, yeah!! He really is an ESFP, and I can't really see anything else that's more fitting than that. Not so sure about his core Enneagram type and subtype + his tritype rn... I just know his trifix is 379. ...man he's such a himbo i love him sm :'))
