Not an expert, and I do think ISFJ is possible, however, from what I read about him I think INFP is a bit more likely. I don’t think Ne seems very repressed considering the wide range of topics he has made films about. He seems to have some strong anti-commercialization feelings, which could be held by any type, but does seem like a common theme for INFPs. The biggest criticism against him seems to be that he’s biased, which he not only admits but embraces in the argument that objectivity doesn’t even exist. He talks about how much he does on the films all by himself without much collaborating. I see this a lot of with INFPs (including myself) because the controlling nature of Te comes out in their art, which is the one area where they can be just as controlling as any high Te user.
