That's the synthetizing spirit of Ni: from the objectively - yes, I'm using that word - real (Se) to the archetypal (i.e., Ni). And that's also why it's so concerned with unifying theories and such, unlike the INTP mathematics. Add the fact that, unlike INFJ philosophy, physics is actually worried about measurable predictions (that is, efficient ways to achieve a concrete result: meaning Te) and you get why it is archetypically INTJ.
