Why E2? Hinako's character isn't a prideful nor a self-entitled girl who wants to be cared of. She isn't mainly focused on her own pompous feelings like an aristocrat (even Mizoe fits more here), not does she seduces audience or fits any criteria of the E2. Rather, she's shows as a passive yet curious girl whose main strenght is to support and believe in others. Before Kihachi, she mentioned that she always did what her dad wanted, she has very little personal desires. She represses anger, not shame, and acts according to what's expected of her (and failling to do so). She said something along the lines of, "My father gets angry with me, punishes me, and isolates me by locking me up; then he comes to see me. And I apologize to him... It’s always like that." Inako is a selfless girl, someone that found spark in cheering Kihachi along her friends and family members. She often feels like nothing she does works out right and faces daily scoldings from her strict father, finding comfort mostly in her prayers. This isn't E2 or heart triad, rather this is someone who has found refuge and solace in believing things will work out somehow at the end of the day. E9 kid tend to repress their real feelings and thoughts on order to maintain the peace. She does this even when feeling comfortable with Kihachi, and she indulges into some kind of narcotization by waiting to cheer up and help Kihachi become someone that can admire his brother (even if he secretly and already does). Hinako's talent for reading people doesn't come from a 'I give and you give me' mindset, rather is her way of distracting herself from her own problems. She is a good listener and easy to get along with, even with difficult people. I also don't see 2E at all. Sure, she's doing what others want but this is more result V. I don't see her being the perfect soldier Afanasyev described. Rather opposite case: she constantly remarks to herself that she isn't good enough even for 'serving tea'. Archetypically she fits EFLV more: a bubbly and curious girl who has a positive mindset (2F supporting 1E) and gets carried away in the moment (4V). Hinako's 1E makes her a sensitive girl with others on her own right, not because of a premeditated or calculative social answer like a true 2E would.
