for what i've researched, she seemingly put ISFJ persona during her stardom. like, the charming modest beauty who seemingly easy to get-along and relate with and rarely do something bizzare (in fact, she was political tool for KMT) it seems like i can't really explain it brief since there are many unexpected side of her but her core mostly Fi for sure (self-referencing). "Im longing for freedom, i thought ppl also feel the same. Knowing what happened (the Tiananmen massacre), i feel sad. im worried abt our future". Even when she choose Paul, she ignored what her family and everyone said and just go with her heart (she was interested by Paul bc he was handsome and had great sense and dedication for his works). She never imposed "what's better for everyone" aka collectivism, she values individualism more. She often emphasizes the importance of understanding her sensing function was more towards Si. She loves leisure time in more relaxed Si way (fishing, eating, went to the nice and calming places with few ppl). she loves traveling and trying new ideas and learn something new. Judy Ongg ever told a story about her in Judy Ongg's youtube channel; she was trying to improve her singing ability by learning in america (and also took some summer course in university) rather than improve in more 'stuck in her way' style. but based on what ppl expected to her, she came out mostly as ppl who stuck in pop-ballad-folk style (however, this is business although she also felt that kind of music fits her better). in reality, she thought "variety are important for ideas", so maybe her wandering side motivation was more towards Ne. if you look for her wikipedia page and see her genres, it is unexpectedly vary she was ok with exploring genres, but also stated that "even you told me to do (more harsh genre), my emotions still the soft one". her concern was not about the technicality, but the emotions itself in seeing love and emotional matter, she also stated herself as person who didn't see it in conventional way. indeed, she had realistic approach in devoting herself, but she also had a conceptual intense perspective about romance bc she lowkey rly into it (she loves the 'romantic' forms of art; songs, films, etc). i said 'lowkey' bc sometimes she stated something about "career is more important" although actually "it's all about interests". it means that if her interests suddenly changed into love, then she will be ok to retire then in one interview, she was mentioned as "being good character but self-centered who didn't want to be told what to do abt personal matter" (she stated "it's [problems] all abt perspectives"). this is the usual Fi/Ti-dom main characteristics since both of them are introverted judging function

Referred as "Asia's eternal queen of pop," Teng became a cultural icon for her contributions to Mandopop, giving birth to the phrase, "Wherever there are Chinese people, there is the music of Teresa Teng". With a career spanning 30 years, Teng remained widely popular throughout the 1970s and 1980s; she remained popular even up to the first half of the 1990s, up until her death in 1995. Teng was known as a patriotic entertainer whose crystalline voice and performances revolutionized Chinese popular culture during the 1970s and 1980s. She is often credited for bridging the cultural barrier across Chinese-speaking nations, and first artist to connect Japan to much of East and Southeast Asia, by singing Japanese pop songs, many of which were later translated to Mandarin.
