“His head is carried away with memories, respect, affection…and revenge.” (Chapter 82) Once again, a case of people calling the votes against their opinion "stereotypes," ignoring all the arguments in the comments, and not providing any arguments themselves. Let me explain why Tenji is clearly an ISTJ. First of all, other ISTJ voters have already mentioned this, so I won’t dwell on it too much. The way he gathered information for two years to use at the right time is an unhealthy, obsessive use of Si. His method of trying to break their bonds was also highly strategic and utilized known techniques. He didn’t go extreme like Yuuichi. We shouldn’t type someone as Fe just because they tried to break their friends apart, especially when they couldn’t even understand their friends’ true intentions and believed the manipulation was working. I wonder who’s really voting based on stereotypes here, lol. This man doesn’t have any Fe. He’s purely Fi. His Fi shows in how he confirmed the possibility of Shiho being the traitor through biased information, joined the game out of personal emotions and reasons, and thought about it constantly throughout the game. (Even in battle royale arc which is just before the final he was thinking about avenging his father) He has Si-Fi ethics. “But you know... the eyes Hanamiya-san had toward me were full of trust. Those eyes were the same ones I had long ago. When I believed in friends... when I wanted to believe in them. I can’t betray those eyes because I know how painful it is to be betrayed.” (Chapter 32)—he remembers in detail what he experienced in the past with all senses when he saw similar eyes to the ones he used to have back then. He even said that’s why he couldn’t lie to Hanamiya, even though he had no problem lying to Yuuichi and the others during the second game. Subjective ethics based on subjective memory go crazy. In the same court arc (where he couldn’t lie to Hanamiya), you can also see his Si processing, which differs from Yuuichi’s Ni. Yuuichi intuited the person lying all at once, suddenly. But his reasoning was, well, just "a guess," as Manabu said, which is why they didn’t accept it as a solid evidence. Meanwhile, Tenji couldn’t detect the liar as fast as Yuuichi, but he did his work and research properly. He gathered every concrete detail, memorized them ("-I can’t believe you remembered it all… +Don’t look down on nerds…") and did everything professionally: checking what rights they had (demanding the admission of witnesses, making an oath, confirming that Yuuichi could extend the court). Tenji is a character who loves to manage things by the book with effort, unlike characters like Yuuichi and Kei, who prefer to think outside the box instead. He even admitted that "although his brain isn’t as sharp as Yuuichi’s, he has that kind tenacity." His father taught him that "the most important thing for a lawyer is to have full belief in their defendant, no matter what." As Mikasa Yutaka’s son, Tenji follows this teaching: "That’s why I’m going to believe in Shibe." The only time he hesitated instead of staying loyal to his character was when he started questioning whether he’d been betrayed by Yuuichi in the hide-and-seek arc. This was his inferior Ne showing itself, creating negative scenarios in his head when things didn’t go well. But he still chose to believe in his friend, maintaining his fixed mindset and character. One last example: throughout the series, Yuuichi was constantly questioning the meaning of friendship, driven by his Ni. In Chapter 13, he asked Tenji the same question. Tenji’s response was that he had stopped thinking about it since the day he was betrayed by his best friend. That question wasn’t necessary for him anymore, so he simply stopped thinking about it. By this, we can see three distinct types of intelligence in the series: Kei (ENTP): Especially as seen in the gamble and battle royale arcs, is highly enterprising, quick, and sharp-minded. Seizes opportunities, creates out-of-the-box strategies, and wins with his "genuineness.” Yuuichi (INTJ): Delves into the core of the game and thinks about the flawless solution to overcome the obstacles and purposes it presents. doesn’t reveal his big plan until the last minute. Tenji (ISTJ): Excels at following procedures, doing things by the book, and establishing well-structured strategies. Has an unwavering, determined mind.
ชีวประวัติ
Tenji is one of Yuuichi's friends trapped in Tomodachi Game. A very spirited guy, and a top student. He does what he believes is best, going as far as lying to his friends for the sake of truth. He's known for being good at communicating with people, and is very sociable despite seeming stern.
