Feelings in Jung and MBTI aren't feelings literally, it just means one thing: WORTH. Fi : emotional intensity, subjective internally sourced values; What is important to me? How do I feel about this? If I were him, I would feel the same way. If I were him I wouldn't feel the same way. Fe: collective ethics, objective externally sourced values. Looks outside first and then act the most appropriate emotion to extravert. Its like a language, emotions have a communicative intent; I pity him. I will help him since he looks like he needed it. I feel for him. Just because he helped Sang Woo in the marble game doesn't mean he is automatic Fe. Remember Fe users have Ti despite being inferior. Their mindset in that scenario would be 'i could see that you are losing, sorry but I would do this also for my family' but no. (An Fe would've put their feet on the thought of surviving for his family since they are not doing this for themselves therefore they are morally right objectively). When Sangwoo guilt trip him, mentions Ali's debt of gratitude towards Sangwoo's help on the convenience store Ali suddenly felt the need to compensate because of how he personally felt. Also Ali believed that Sangwoo would have everything figure out to make them both win at the game, the inferior Te kicks in (Ignoring of logical reasoning = rules of the game) because he believed that Sangwoo is not only smart but also a good person that would not do him harm. That is Fi, a blind faith coming from the inside than the outside. Another thing is Ali's first appearance is him carrying Gi-hun by the jacket. That moment is literally a death game, an ESFJ wouldn't have the mind space to act nobel because majority of the people around them is thinking for themselves. So its not necessary for them to act righteous, the majority values survivability at the moment like Il nam the old man. An Fi would go out everyone's way to do what is morally right for themselves. Even told Gi-hun after: 'It's okay as long as you are alive'. Because he empathize with Gi-hun, he felt it in his gut to help him regardless of the external situation for he share the same fear and put himself in Gi-hun's situation. 'What if I was the one who tripped?', 'What if no one help me the same way as this people is doing to this person?'. Its moreso on Fe users making their feeling judgements fit the contextual scenario. If the scenario doesn't need them to impose collective ethics then they don't do it at all. Thats why Fe had a bad reputation of being shallow and fake because they easily adjust to the situation, they depend on the external feedback on what to act. In that scene of Red Light Green Light, the collective mindset is to survive so an ESFJ/Fe dom wouldn't go out their way to disrupt the collective mindset. Thats more of an Fi psyche since they judge subjectively. Read @thotXterminator comment about the perceiving functions since we both have the same arguements. Just scroll down in the BEST section.
