Estp 9w8, let’s do this guys!! I figured the 9w8 was pretty obvious. He’s insanely relaxed about his career and doesn’t seem opportunistic in the slightest, (I’m quite sure he lets his agent handle everything, including his money). His reaction to getting cancelled was to roll with the punches rather than make a fuss about it and his reaction to subsequently being fired from SNL before even making an appearance was very “whatever”. He can be quite confrontational in that very 9w8 way. His appearance on the Barstool Sports podcast where a guy was getting under his skin screamed 8 wing or at least 8 fix. Also his whole on stage demeanour is very reminiscent of Norm MacDonald, one of the best 9w8s out there. Quietly whimsical and an impish grin to deliver his punchlines. I used to be part of the xsfp club but I think his Ti is definitely stronger. His jokes revolve a lot around why something doesn’t make much logical sense, and he often highlights the absurdity of things in a very Ti like way. None of his jokes seem to revolve around how he feels about something such as Kevin Hart’s Fi “white people be crazy” kind of style. As for Ne or Se, he seems way too grounded in that chad ESTP kind of way. This is something that happens (Se) and this is why it doesn’t make sense (Ti) and this is why it’s funny (Fe). Rather than this is something that happens (Se) and this is how I personally feel about it (Fi) and this is what it should be like instead (Te) or this is something ridiculous and out there (Ne) and this is why it could make sense (Ti) and this is why that’s funny (Fe). His inferior Ni could be explained by his complete lack of foresight revolving around perhaps cleaning up his digital footprint before auditioning for SNL and his Fe is way too strong to be inferior. He likes to troll while simultaneously also looking for validation in his daring humour - very extp. Plus the guy’s a chad who constantly drinks beer and makes fun of everything just for the sake of it. Pretty ESTP. Seeing him interact with ENTP Nick Mullen who always flips a concept on its head using Ne-Ti for Shane to just add “yeah… plus it’s gay” is a pretty good case for him being Se over Ne. Also he’s athletically gifted and was in the army. Sorry to use stereotypes but that’s way more ESTP than ENTP.
