i can definitely see 2w1. most of my teacher's have the stereotypical 2 pride and the idea that they can do no wrong while endlessly preaching to kids like me. In fact being a teacher is probably the perfect 2 job. You definitely get to put on a lovable image in this usually respected career and you also basically are made to expect kids to respect you and treat you very well just because your a authority figure even against they're actual feelings. And than you get to embrace your pride whenever kids do anything you dislike or makes you remotely uncomfortable because teacher's are practically always able to lash out at kids whenever they do something that teacher's aren't happy with no matter how minor or irrational it is to be angry with and from my experience they're nearly always defended by everybody around them no matter how extreme it's get as long as that kid is a good enough scapegoat. Which they usually are as long as the teacher picks correctly just because in a environment like school the kids who stand out most as really irritating ( no matter how unjustifiable it is) are usually the piranhas that nobody genuinely likes much anyway. At least not enough to actually get defended by other's. Especially considering how little any of them do anything about stuff like bullying or even when kids have obvious mental issues, it makes sense that many of them probably don't actually care about kids deep down as much as they claim to beyond how being in a respected and generally socially valued role like that could potentially improve they're self image and social status.
