They learn in order to ease their anxiety, their fear of the unknown, they prepare themselves to avoid feeling pain —to avoid feeling altogether. furthermore, the dynamic of his parents fits that of an E5; a distant father and an invasive mother. He ofc doesn't have bad parents but in many of his video he describe his father as very easygoing even helping him to create a fake grade report just so his mother doesn't flip out, clearly the more submissive one, while his mother is typical asian mother, vocal and protective.
