It depends on the type of translation. However, as an INFP who's studying translation and who will hopefully become a translator, I think there is no better job for me. I have always loved languages and language more in general. I love reflecting on words and playing with them - which is why I also enjoy writing. I think it's an activity which relies heavily on Ne which may be why I like it so much, since if often forces you to think of other ways to express things. But this also depends on one's translating style, I guess. Also, it's kind of a solitary job (especially if you're a freelance translator) which I think most INFPs would prefer.
