Any type can be this, even INTPs. In fact, I do. Being a nerd doesn't mean your interests/obsession scopes only limited to STEM/video games/weeb. Nerding over makeup is afterall still, in fact, nerding. Fe dom SX3 1/3F is just the stereotype for this because people think that one do makeup to impress/be admired by others, which is the common reason Fe dom SX3 1/3F do this. Not to mention that the makeup style these kind of people pursue are generally the mainstream ones. Someone who do this for other reason, however, can be a lot of other type. E4, for instance, might be obsessed with a niche style/genre of makeup because it resonate with them a lot. In my case (SX5 4F), it's due to one of the criteria I wished for my significant other was to look dazzling, in order to cover up the shortcomings I used to have. It's kind of a coping mechanism of reducing my standards for my SO in a sense that "If you can't do it, fine, I'll do it myself/for you". 5s are known for their strong sense of boundaries/consent so this is kind of a failsafe in case my future SO aren't interested with the kind of fashion style I'm interested in, or do interested but unable to pull it off;we don't like coercing our SO. My room looks like the stereotypically 4F ones (messy af), fashion & makeup are the only "physical" thing that I put the utmost care of so basically it's kind of due to my 3E working here (worrying about my future SO being unable to meet my expectations) instead of a 1/3F thing. I'm obsessed with it, especially with my favorite makeup style, in the manner stereotypical nerdy people nerding over STEM subjects, tech, vidya, etc. People do makeup for tons of purposes, not just to impress others.
