why not ENFJ 2w3? mai uses fe/ni over ne/fi. she is very others-oriented. she constantly neglects her own needs (schoolwork, etc.) in favor of supporting those around her, which is textbook for an fe dom 2. also, the way she influenced the crowd to stick around to see blast at their first concert (emotional manipulation but it's purposeful and cute!) felt very fe. her way of knowing/understanding others so quickly (hachi in ch. 44: "i haven't told her anything but get the feeling she'll know") and getting them to open up to her (like shin sharing bits about his past) screams ENFJ. i think her tertiary se (seeking out new experiences, noticing present environment) is getting confused with being an ne dom and/or an enneagram 7. however, if we look at her priorities and how she approaches them, it's about supporting the band members with an end goal of success. she doesn't seek out new experiences by traveling to tokyo for her own self-discovery (or something like that) but to support blast. (i do think her tritype has a 7 fix, though: 279.) mai is one of my favorite nana characters, so i'd be happy to elaborate!
