The mods deleted my original thread so let me try again with some examples (at least, I'll go as in depth as one can when it comes to psychoanalyzing a fairly one-dimensional "antihero" from a children's cartoon.) Faybelle is the captain of the cheerhexing squad and most of what she does is cheerhexing as it's one of her top priorities. Faybelle was told by her mother, 'Never hide in the shadows', which is why Faybelle always wears glittery accessories, and bright clothes, preferably blue. After her plans fail, she remains unbroken and is always ready to prove herself once more. Although she definitely comes off as snide and selfish, Faybelle isn't without humanity. She knows when she's taken things too far, and has been known to apologize for her wrongdoings, *however begrudgingly*. She considers villainous destinies a mark of prestige, which is why she's distrustful of Raven Queen. - pretty glaring dominant Fi in my opinion: she has a strong sense of self (objectively immoral as being a villain may be, it's what SHE thinks is right for her and the world.) she dislikes Raven (among others) because she considers her disrespectful and amoral by her own personal standards. We know Faybelle is in high school, thus she's in the stage of developing her auxiliary function and I see CLEAR immature aux Se expression > aux Ni or aux Te. Failure to develop the auxiliary function properly during the teenage years often leads to psychological issues or maladjustment. Regarding Fayebelle: - selfish and impulsive, does whatever one wants | She oftentimes likes to use her time at Ever After High to pursue her pre-determined destiny as the fairy tale world's most evil fairy, though her actions often lead to consequences. - evades consequences; leaves a trail of destruction - wants immediate gratification; angry when thwarted We also see signs of a possible inferior Te grip in Epic Winter [1] when she makes a deal with the Fairy Mob and tells them she'll owe them if they clean the school for her. - hates being a “failure” but can’t resolve it - makes many misguided/failed attempts to get life together - poor planner and can’t follow through with plans - overpowering urge to “correct” everything that’s “wrong” Additionally, during cheerhexing season - Faybelle can be very strict and stern about her cheerhexers arriving on time as she is leading towards the cheerhexing regionals trophy. This leads me to believe she goes into a Te grip during stress. Faybelle is not contemplative, she doesn’t speculate about how things will go, doesn’t require structure, and is happy to live her life by whims/urges. This rules out Ni dominant for me. (Was Ni dom even an option? Like do the 10 INTJ votes REALLY think this girl is Se inferior?) Now Te dom is a little trickier because on first glance she could look like an immature Te user but she is all-in-all too self-indulgent, self-pitying, oversensitive and melodramatic to have Te has her dominant function. Extraverted judging functions are about being able to influence and manage the objective world, and Faybelle's exploits to assert her spiritual dominance over her fellow students usually end up backfiring in embarrassing or tragic ways.
