This kid the whole movie was such an SX6, I mean the constant envy he had for Stevie and trying to portray himself as cool was totally SX6 related. The fear builds on top of that, when Stevie got introduced to the group, he envied the attention Stevie got and brought out his anger out on him cause he feared not getting attention like he used to. At the scene where Stevie fell off the roof and hit his head, Ray demanded Ruben for his shirt but he denied but Ray forced him to anyway. In that clip you can see his hatred for the attention Stevie got in the group. This could probably be from the fact that he lacks emotional attention at home, and uses his friend group to pursue attention.
