I feel like the writers sort of set up Bartosz for something big, but per Season 3’s over-cramming issue, I feel like such potential got shitted on, but more on that further in the post… MBTI —> No, Dark was very good about being above more archetypal high school characters, giving the Scooby gang (…still Nein then, huh?) more individuality, but anyway, early on, before everything ensued, Bartosz did demonstrate more characteristically “jock-like” behaviors of charisma and mischief per his extraverted functions of dominant Se and tertiary Fe —> I know PDB may like to appraise the iNtuitive townspeople of Winden for their iNtuitiveness in being more willing to abstractly interpret the reality of time travel, but I don’t think Ti gets enough credit here, especially as far both the ESTPs in town are concerned (Ulrich and Bartosz himself), Bartosz able to more… …”calmly” piece together the logistics of how time travel works per what Noah was instructing him on in Season 1. —> Otherwise, it is in Season 2’s “cold opening” in which I think Bartosz starts to come to terms with the existentialism of his inferior Ni, having more individualistic agency of questioning Adam/Jonas’s agendas through Sic Mundus - very well set up character arc coming full circle as his resentment of Jonas came to be in Season 1, and likewise to Ulrich, sort of “forced” into accepting his existential inferior Ni by the situation of time travel ENNEAGRAM —> 7w8 just simply makes sense in such the same way in does the similarly EXSP Magnus, constantly moving into action per repressed anxiety as well as complemented by a secondary desire for authority per his Wing 8 —> I might need to do more research on Enneagram 7 to understand how integrating into more curious and appreciative into 5-like healthiness realistically manifests, but I’m not really sure if Bartosz ever really fully attained such integration, but MAYBE it was the case into adulthood as hand-in-hand with more existential skepticism per Adam’s agendas for time travel and interpersonal manipulation, thus becoming more speculative in a 5-like manner —> Otherwise though; I think disintegrating into 1 makes sense as under stress, Bartosz became reproachfully judgmental, especially as far as his resentment for Jonas was concerned, but also his bouts with Martha about the shit he went through PERSONAL THOUGHTS —> I expressed likewise sentiments under the Unknown’s comments, perhaps I’m just a degenerate fan of Hollywood sci-Fi - or rather more specifically space opera fantasy as I will to compare to Star Wars, but yeah, I feel like there was a lot of potential in Bartosz story to take after the steps of Noah in coming to terms with Soc Mundus, eventually confronting Adam in a bit of a final “showdown”, but that’s probably a very Western disposition of my perspective on sci-fi pop culture —> Like, I couldn’t less of a shit about Disney’s contrived Dark Side dYaD tomfoolery to justify the Tumblr-esque ‘shipping of Rey “Palpatine” and Ben Solo/Kylo Ren, but focusing on what was already established about Sith politics about the Rule of Two, the reason was the Sith’s toxically individualistic battles for power dismantling their order from the inside and thus we see proof of this in the prequel era in Clone Wars as Dooku was trying to plot against Darth Sidious by training Sith Assassins - what I mean to say is, what if Noah played a long game against Adam to feed into Bartosz’s stewing resentment towards Jonas to build up to Bartosz trying to dismantle everything Adam was trying to work towards? —> I think this did ultimately come together in Season 2’s cold opening in a more authentic and thematically appropriate character ending with Adam having Bartosz’s own fucking son killing him because of a lack of faith (free of Western Hollywood tomfoolery), but this gets more and more questionable as Bartosz’s development from a teenager into his adult self was ultimately offscreen in Season 3 - basically, I feel like there was a missed potential in using Bartosz as a pawn in a long-con game of manipulation between Adam and Noah in the same vein of Darth Sidious and Count Dooku. Thank you.
