The only reason he appears more INFJ-ish than the man himself, is that he's a 1w9, in contrast to Big Boss's 8w9. He's very much in line with his Te, and the whole base management thing explains that. Plus many keep forgetting that he's the same person that would become MG1's Big Boss, and that man was Te as hell. One of the reasons Boss connected very well with Miller was the Te-Fi - Fi-Te swap, and Venom connected so well with Kaz that he didn't even suspect him. Fe becomes very obvious, especially to those with strong Fi. Also another thing, he was so involved in getting Kaz rescued that he didn't even listen to his demand of saying the 'magic words'.

Venom Snake is the main protagonist in the 2015 game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and the main antagonist of Metal Gear (1987) as “Big Boss”. Punished “Venom” Snake, also known as Big Boss, Ahab, V, or Big Boss' phantom, was a combat medic for Militaires Sans Frontières (MSF), who would later become the mercenary commander of Diamond Dogs and Outer Heaven as one of Big Boss' most trusted lieutenants and he was the most skilled and best soldier under his command.
