EEEEE OKAY okay okay so- As I read Hooky 1, several times he did things and said things that I have done. And the whole time I was like “He has to be INFJ- I’ve never seen such an INFJ coded character- an INFJ fictional child depicted so beautifully!” (And I was like ‘pls don’t let me be the only one who thinks this PLEAASE’ AND IM NOT ALONE!) Those who have said INTP, where is his Ne? Reading this story, he isn’t full of all kinds of ideas nor sporadic. Also, INTPs tend to be seclusive and not really care about friends and social interactions, while Dorian wants to have friends so badly! (Fe) He is the guide in this story, he is the one who sees things happening and planning. He is the level headed one, the one who brings his ENFP sister down to earth, the calm one, the perceptive one. (Ni) Not to mention he loves organizing, and keeping things tidy, Monica even uses color coded charts according to the type of magic and level difficulty to get him to teach her and he IMMEDIATELY caved because of just. That. You can’t tell me that’s not J behavior, right there. (It helps that I love lists like this myself, color coding and organizing like this is the best thing ever okay) He definitely has Fe, he’s very perceptive of the emotions and notions of his sister, and is good at judging people. Not to mention, the Ti. He uses his Ti to make connections throughout the story. I think some people get Ti and Ni mixed up at times, though. Oh and he cries way too much to be a T, okay? He is a feeler. If anyone says otherwise they can fight me on this. This is simply my observations for the first book, though. I plan to come back and add more once I read the second book!
