Some manga quotes that lead me to 9w1: Convo with ghost girl (G) (who I suspect to be Yuzu's sister) and Iride (I) in round 1: G: "I'm glad.. then will you come with me? Let's burn together. Will you die together with me? Hey if you stay like this, you'll quickly forget about me. You'll be a liar." I: "I'll be your friend. I can't go together with you yet, but I've never broken a promise before. After everything's over, for sure." (Also leads me to sp-blind Iride) -> [When Karin asked Iride if he said anything to ghost girl] "Hm? Did? I've already forgotten." "The first step to building a good relationship is smiling. This seems like the narcotization and "sloth" to negative emotions of an E9, rather than the mitigation of fear of a so 6 via abiding by an external authority, group, or ideology.
