Something I've noticed about Ashley is that she mirrors other people and matches their energy. What someone will do to or for her, she will do, whatever is the equivalent in her minds eye for them, good or bad. What people do with her matters a lot. She often jumps to defending herself and tries to see things with logic, but often her anxiety gets in the way of that process, making things for the people around her, and her, significantly worse. When her security in her relationships is threatened, she lets them go, because losing that security is like losing the whole meaning of the relationship for her. From her relationships, it can be seen that she values genuinity, even if that is a quality she lacks at times. Here's my first ever characters function breakdown!! Thanks for being the first, Ash! SUCH an obvious Si dom. The reason Chris got his head twizzled off was because she couldn't stop associating the memory of Chris sacrificing her with Chris. The Fe is most certainly there too, she's swayed by the group consensus and what is deemed okay by the group, not her own morals, which indicates Fi. Her inferior Ne is what I would say leads her to jump to conclusions that get others killed, as well as her fear of losing her security, as demonstrated with Emily and the bite. And her Ti, her Ti is demonstrated through her attempts to rationalize whatever's happening around her and pairing it with what she's already experienced and remembers.

Ashley "Ash" Brown is one of the eight main protagonists and a playable character in Until Dawn. Ashley is described in-game as academic, inquisitive, and forthright. Ashley seems to be sweet, friendly, cheerful, and generally eager to be in the company of her friends. She is shown to be very observant. However, she does have a tendency to let her imagination run away with her. Compared with some of her more loose and laid-back friends, Ashley is rather polite, serious, and even a little hesitant; she doesn't use profanity often like other group members and tends to follow the decisions of others. Her tendency to be meek and timid outlines her lack of self-confidence, and as the night progresses she becomes increasingly distressed and scared by the life-threatening and seemingly supernatural events taking place around her. She's terrible under pressure and depending on the player's actions, Ashley can be shown to possess a vengeful streak.
