I'm pretty certain he's an ENTP. There is very little Fi in his music, and that which is there emerged mostly in his later years on Insanity and in his work on The Nightmare Before Christmas with INFP Tim Burton. There's also a strong lack of Fi in his descriptions of personal affairs with critics and people with whom he's had fallings out, namely Matt Groening and Tim Burton respectively. You can also see very strong Te critic on many songs Only A Lad, especially "Capitalism," "Perfect System," and "Imposter." And just going off of musical "vibe checking," the style and attitude presented in Oingo Boingo just seems to me to match more closely with ENTP musicians like Les Claypool or Childish Gambino than with ENFP musicians like Gwen Stefani or even the heavily Boingo-inspired Neil Cicierega.

Elfman first became known for being the lead singer and songwriter for the band Oingo Boingo from 1974 to 1995 . He is well known for scoring films and television shows, in particular his frequent collaborations with director Tim Burton.
