seems to be rules-and-structure oriented similar to Gregory (with a similar fiscally responsible "poor" lifestyle) but clearly not so rigidly and he's willing to bend rules if he sees benefits - like letting Ava keep the stolen computers because it helps the kids, and even though he does verbally defend that he's risking his job over it, he comes up with a quick systematic (Te-valuing) plan to ensure that's not an issue ("every computer problem goes through Me"). the show does portray him as Ava's (ESFP) "match" too and I wouldn't be surprised if they were meant to be cognitive opposites for the sake of the will-they-wont-they thing.
