1. Flora naturally assumes executive authority (Je-lead). Throughout the film, she positions herself as the organizer of the three fairies, determines their course of action, distributes responsibilities, and expects cooperation. This is not merely occasional leadership competence; directing circumstances toward intended outcomes is her habitual orientation. 2. Her thinking consistently moves from problems to solutions (Te Mechanics). When Maleficent curses Aurora, Flora immediately begins considering how the curse can be prevented. She initially proposes transforming Aurora into a flower because flowers lack fingers. This imaginative proposal is nevertheless framed through an impersonal causal mechanism: remove the necessary condition, and the predicted outcome becomes impossible. 3. Her Ne generates possibilities, but Te determines their usefulness (Te-lead over Ne-lead). When Merryweather points out that Maleficent could destroy the flower with frost, Flora abandons the idea. When Fauna identifies Maleficent's inability to understand love and kindness, Flora immediately converts that observation into another strategy. Her associative flexibility serves the search for an effective solution rather than continued exploration for its own sake. 4. Her forest disguise demonstrates Te's ability to operationalize Ne (conscious Ne). Flora takes an unconventional possibility—three fairies disguising themselves as peasant women—and transforms it into an executable plan. She identifies a location, anticipates the king and queen's objections, establishes the prohibition on magic, and assigns practical responsibilities. Ne supplies a radical alternative; Te converts it into an organized intervention. 5. She willingly suppresses exploration and convenience to maintain her objectives (Te-lead). Flora agrees to abandon magic for sixteen years despite the fairies' complete unfamiliarity with mortal life. She also insists on maintaining that restriction as Aurora's birthday approaches. She prefers not what's novel, interesting, or immediately available, but whatever course of action best preserves the intended result. 6. Her communication exhibits Te Dictating rather than Fe Handling (Te–Fi: Candid). Flora frequently gives direct instructions, corrects others, dismisses objections, and decides what will happen. Even her affectionate speech often serves as a softer presentation of an already-made decision. Merryweather's observation that Flora alone decided Aurora's dress should be pink shows how Flora can impose her preferences while presenting them as settled. 7. Her personal tastes suggest Fi operating alongside Te (Te–Fi axis). Flora is strongly attached to her aesthetic preferences, particularly the pink dress, even when those preferences produce an unnecessary conflict with Merryweather. Her personal valuation is not simply a calculation of utility or social consensus. This fits Fi's tendency to value what feels intrinsically right or personally resonant, expressed through Te's assertive direction. 8. Her relationship with time is oriented toward specific historical continuity (Si Locality). Flora treats Aurora's upbringing as a sixteen-year episode with a definite beginning, protected middle, and predetermined conclusion. As Aurora's birthday approaches, Flora recalls the years they spent raising her, acknowledges their approaching separation, and returns her attention to that final day's responsibilities. This favors Si's localized, chronological continuity over Ni's tendency toward translocal thematic synthesis. 9. The Ne–Si axis explains her combination of fanciful inventiveness and anxious precaution (Suspended). Flora alternates between proposing improbable transformations and worrying about hypothetical consequences. She imagines what Aurora could become, what Maleficent might anticipate, and what could go wrong if the fairies use magic. Her attention often shifts between alternative possibilities and remembered obligations rather than staying immersed in the present. This gives her an Ne–Si Suspended quality rather than the focused, weighty Grounded quality of Se–Ni. 10. When unexpected developments threaten her plans, she defaults to execution rather than exploration (decisive lead evidence). After Aurora reveals that she has fallen in love, Flora does not enthusiastically investigate this new possibility. She explains Aurora's existing betrothal and insists that she cannot see the young man again. Later, when the fairies discover Phillip's identity and capture, Flora immediately redirects their activities toward rescuing him. In both cases, new information prompts a revised course of action rather than an extended exploration of possibilities.
