Initially I was convinced Kotomi was ISFJ, but now that I think about, there's no way she isn't INTP It's pretty clear she's stuck in a Ti-Si/Si-Ti loop for most of the story as she's shown to value both functions quite a lot; what really matters is the position of her Fe. She has a hard time dealing with her emotions and knowing why she feels what she feels. Additionally, she's pretty bad at reading the room (for example, the scene where she "plays" the violin for the first time and everybody around her is begging her to stop) and doesn't quite know what people really want but wants to please people anyway--this is quite indicative of a blind Fe. Despite being a social outcast, I don't think an unhealthy ISFJ would ignore Fe this much. As for Ne, I don't really see it at all until later in the story, but this is a sign she's beginning to break out of her Ti-Si loop. Despite craving predictability and always wanting to do things a certain way, Kotomi still has an innate curiosity (she meddles with the drama club room equipment for no reason) and seems open to new ideas and experiences. If she was Ne-blind, she would be a lot less open to making friends to begin with. It's kind of a tough call whether she's a sp5 or a sp9: she's very detail-oriented and strives for knowledge like a 5 but she's generally optimistic and goes with the flow like a 9. In the end, she has a really strong 9-fix but I still think Kotomi is a sp5. Her behaviour seems to fit an average/unhealthy 5 which from the outside could be confused as a 9. also I've only read the VN and not watched the anime so some things might be very different between the two
