Furuta is absolutely not a core 7. It's in his tritype sure, but he's definitely a core 3. I reread his fight with Kaneki last night, which is set up to give us a flashback to the moment Furuta, as a child, decides to one day destroy the Washuu. The scene is specifically framed as a moment to reflect on Furuta's humanity, the core of his desires and what drove him to the point of Chapter 176: a feeling of inferiority in his family, where no matter what he did, he'd always just be at the bottom. His "ceiling is already set". In the end, his role as a clown was only to fulfil his mission to destroy a system that told him he was low. He has a 7 fix (2nd number of his tritype) because he also has a longing for comfort, but this is not the true force behind his actions, rather it's more a topic of regret that Furuta wishes he had prioritized more in his life, but realizes too late. Furuta wishes he could be someone who aimed more for a simple, peaceful life, but he chose his path a long time ago and he follows it until the end. Enneagram is more than just personality traits; it's about core desires, fears, and motives. ENFJ 7w8 and ENTP 3w4 have little in common and saying he's actually a "psychotic" (which is a horrid misuse of the word) ENFJ 7w8 combo proves absolutely nothing because you can't be a core 7w8 without being driven by 7 first and foremost.
