In the films his Te is really hammed up and he is a more of a domineering overlord type villain. In the books, we see much more of an introspective Ni-dom who uses Te as a means to achieve his goals. He is somewhat interested in controlling and domination, but not for its own sake but instead to further his pursuit of immortality, the goal his Ni-Fi values above all else. He also shows a huge desire for and appreciation of symbolism (which is very typical of Ni-doms): He must be the one to kill Harry, he wants his soul stored in meaningful historic artifacts, and he specifically wants seven horcruxes for some reason.

Lord Voldemort (born as Thomas Marvolo Riddle, December 31, 1926 – May 2, 1998) was a powerful dark wizard who terrorized the British wizarding community in the late 20th century. He led a group called the Death Eaters to persecute Muggle-born wizards and witches, resulting in the First and Second Wizarding Wars in England. During the wars, Lord Voldemort faced opposition from his former teacher Albus Dumbledore and his followers the Order of the Phoenix.
