My vote isn't just based on the anime, but also on the manga, which I've been reading since I was little girl. Kaoru is definitely Fe dom, her decisions are based on the well-being of the collective. She's very empathetic towards other people's emotions and life stories, she welcomes and integrates all those she loves without expecting anything in return and respects each person's story, just as she does with Kenshin, Sanosuke and Yahiko. Furthermore, she's pretty emocional, in the literal sense of the word. On the other hand, her strong temperament allows her to make good decisions and keep things stable, and she's quite intelligent too, which allows her to be a great martial arts master. She's one of my favourite female characters in the entire anime/manga universe, I see her as well balanced, but Kaoru certainly tends to be a feeler.
