ISTJ makes a lot of sense for him (how he despises change, prefers routine, is very blunt and says exactly what he thinks, absolutely no Fe), but why 8w9? He's a 6 all day long. Type 6 is characterized by always questioning everything, overthinking, stressing, cautious of everything and everyone, constantly afraid, even paranoic sometimes. Grumpy is exactly like that. Throughout the movie he continuously worries about the Queen finding them more than the other dwarfs seem to. He leaps to conspiracy theories immediately, assuming the Queen is there, which is a very 6 thing to do when under stress. When something doesn't make sense to the 6 or they are under a lot of pressure, they start jumping to conclusions or just assume things, which can sometimes be categorized as concpiracy theories. He is wary of Snow White (at least in the beginning) and everything that she does (her soup, her cleaning etc.), while the other dwarfs immediately start trusting her. Type 6 are like that, you have to win their trust. Even before he meets the princess, he already starts with his pessimistic theories ("Mark my words! There's trouble a-brewin'!", "Don't touch it you fools!"). Type 6 always assume the worst about everything and everyone and throughout the movie Grumpy does just that. I don't get where people got 8w9 from.

Grumpy is one of the titular seven dwarfs in Disney's 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. True to his name, Grumpy is grouchy, overbearing, and short-fused. Often portrayed with a scowl and crossed arms, he is frequently annoyed by the other dwarfs. Deep down, Grumpy possesses a warm heart but seldom chooses to show it.
