You can really see social 8 here. She's not a soft character by any means but she's not that "heavy," either. Usually she is professional, transactional, and even polite and cheerful. However, Balalaika is extremely aggressive when someone threatens, or kills, her soldiers. She will go to great lengths to exact revenge on behalf of her people. The Vampire Twins series gives the most memorable example of this. She seems like someone who is far away from where she was meant to wind up in life. I could make a case for SO/SP but SO/SX is a better fit. She stays too close to the action, she works for Hotel Moscow rather than her own outfit, and she doesn't do very many SP activities. SP 8s can be really rough around the edges (like Revy) and, Balalaika isn't.
