i really can’t see him as a sp6— compared to an obvious one like crona, he lacks the warmth & friendliness a sp6 would use to protect themselves from the outside world. in particular, shinigami’s description of his past in the anniversary party arc sounds like the epitome of sx6 to me, being so afraid of the outside world that he developed an obsession with “overpowering” his fears, going so far as to kill hundreds to harvest their souls & eventually eating his partner to increase his own power & counteract his fear of death. whichever way you look at it, he’s definitely a 6 though

The strongest and most dangerous antagonist in Soul Eater, as well as the Big Bad for the entire series and the first demon god. He was supposedly once human, a meister and Death's apprentice who ate his own weapon partner after going insane with fear. Before the start of the series, he was defeated by Shinigami-sama and imprisoned. However he is eventually released and begins to spread "madness" throughout the world.
